Head of Supply Chain

We are currently recruiting for a leading company in the technology sector. We are looking for a Head of Supply Chain to join an innovative, fast-growing project based in Porto.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and qualify hardware suppliers based on technical requirements defined by the Hardware Team;
• Manage RFI and RFQ processes for components, transport, services, and production;
• Negotiate supplier contracts and monitor performance through defined KPIs;
• Define and implement stock management strategies tailored to different product types;
• Collaborate with the Hardware Team to optimize BOM (Bill of Materials) costs;
• Lead and grow the team, including recruitment and development of talent;
• Develop tools and processes to support operations and performance tracking.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in technical procurement, supply chain management, or industrial operations, preferably in hardware or tech product companies;
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships;
• Strong knowledge of inventory planning and control;
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, particularly with engineering and product;
• Strategic thinker, hands-on, and focused on continuous improvement;
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities;
• Fluency in English.
