Planning Partner

We are currently recruiting for a leading company in the industrial sector. We are looking for a Planning Partner to join a solid, multinational project based in Viseu.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and qualify hardware suppliers based on technical requirements defined by the Hardware Team;
• Manage RFI and RFQ processes for components, transport, services, and production;
• Negotiate supplier contracts and monitor performance through defined KPIs;
• Define and implement stock management strategies tailored to different product types;
• Collaborate with the Hardware Team to optimize BOM (Bill of Materials) costs;
• Lead and grow the team, including recruitment and development of talent;
• Develop tools and processes to support operations and performance tracking.

Requirements:

• Creation and distribution of Work Orders (WOs) according to the defined criteria for warehouse stock management;
• Planning of subsidiary tasks;
• Production and inventory control: internal production, suppliers, subcontractors;
• Sending Purchase Orders to Suppliers.
