Responsibilities:

  • Lead the QA team in performing unit, UI/UX, defect, system, and integration testing on Salesforce Commerce Cloud based sites.
  • Design, develop, document, and implement QA processes company-wide, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers, and Designers to ensure the highest level of quality product is delivered.
  • Create and document test cases and scripts for larger projects, including end-to-end eCommerce site launches, and guide the team in their execution.
  • Conduct additional testing as needed with other vendor applications and other Salesforce Clouds, coordinating efforts with relevant stakeholders.
  • Drive the ongoing process of improving test efficiency and accuracy by identifying opportunities for process optimization and advocating for necessary tool and infrastructure improvements.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, working closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, user advocates, and other testers to foster collaboration and align testing efforts.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring consistent quality standards are upheld.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 3+ years of specific experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) testing (Preferred).
  • Proficiency in testing eCommerce platforms, with a strong understanding of SFCC features and extensions.
  • Proven experience in a QA Lead or similar role, with a strong background in software testing methodologies and processes.
  • Ability to effectively switch between clients and projects, adapting quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working under minimal supervision, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling quick adaptation within a dynamic environment.
  • Experience conducting QA testing in SFCC (formerly Demandware) environments, including familiarity with Business Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence) or other defect tracking systems to manage and track testing activities effectively.
