TEACHERS ASSISTANTS

Responsibilities

Assist with all essential classroom requirements, including Occupational Health and Safety and administrative duties

Assisting with lesson planning and classroom activities.
Supporting classroom administration and daily preparation tasks.
Supporting structured learning activities and developmental play-based learning.
Maintaining a safe, stimulating, and organised learning environment both indoors and outdoors.
Collaborating effectively with teachers, management, and lodge departments when necessary.
Supporting the monitoring and observation of children's development under the guidance of teachers.
Participating in training, mentoring, and development opportunities
Supporting extracurricular and enrichment activities where necessary.
Upholding professionalism, integrity, and discretion at all times
Planning and implementing (with the support of the Lodge) extracurricular activities such as sports, game drives, and outings;
Be willing to grow with the children's teaching needs up to Grade 10 (ages 13-15).
Be able to keep an orderly and organised learning environment, both outdoors and indoors
