Quality Planning Manager

Job responsibilities 

• Define and maintain the design verification test guideline and process verification guidelines for the new project to ensure an excellent mass production quality performance.
• Lead team to integrate lessons learned into new project and generate lessons learned during project phase.
• Align quality criteria with customer and define internal product quality criteria according to PPAP requirement in cooperation with multi-function project teams to ensure the correct deployment of customer criteria.
• Lead the team on key new project APQP activities, monitor project quality performance, identify quality risks and generate mitigation plan.
• Lead multi-function team to handle customer complaints and quick response to quality issue problem solving via deploying 8D process to meet customer improvement requirement.
• Responsible for quality audit for project specific process as required internally & externally and follow up the actions till closure.
• Provide training and coaching to quality planning team to ensure the team development in terms of technical skills and soft skills.
• Manage team resources to meet the business planning.
• Complete other related work assigned by superior.

Job Specifications

• Bachelor degree with major in science and technology
• At least 8 years' automotive industry working experience, with 5 years people management experiences
• Familiar with IATF16949, ISO9001 system
• Experience in APQP, SPC, FMEA, MSA and PPAP
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Logical and analytical thinking
• Knowledge of Electronics, Mechanics and Testing
• Good problem-solving ability
• Good command of English both written and spoken
