This role is a mix between an internal strategy consultant, a senior analyst, and a project manager. The ideal candidate is an executor with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail oriented with a healthy dose of creativity. True passion for the business, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are a must.
Job Duties
- Assist in the development, deployment, implementation and optimization of overall business plan, strategies and principles.
- Conduct research and analysis over the financial and business assumptions in relation to the business plan, as well as the wider business/economic environment through various analytical methods.
- Review and evaluate existing business processes, procedures, methods and protocols; perform analysis to identify the gaps, risks and ultimate causes in business operations across different areas.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop business models of the new opportunities by carrying out research, financial analysis, and feasibility studies.
- Present relevant research findings to the Senior Management Team; propose viable business solutions and make smart decisions based on research findings.
- Translate business proposals into actionable plans; foster collaboration between various business functions and work cross-functionally with teams on the ground to ensure flawless execution of business strategies.
- Other services as agreed with Senior Management and/or supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree holder or above with sound academic background.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in strategy, consulting, finance, a high-growth start-up/ business or relevant industries.
- Deeply analytical with foundational understanding of financial models; embraces a data-driven approach to problems, pointing to the right metrics to back-up decision making; be able to quantify business strategies to financial implications.
- High intellect; be able to understand and dissect complex problems quickly.
- Highly self-motivated and determined with a hands-on mentality; comfortable with high-pressure situations, tight deadlines, and quickly evolving business priorities. Strong track-record of hitting targets and exceeding business expectations.
- Detail oriented, well-organised and concise, with a personal resilience to tackle challenges and opportunities relentlessly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, down to earth and fun to work with.
