As we continue to expand our team, we are looking for a Legal Associate for our office in Montevideo, Uruguay.

MISSION

• Conduct global corporate compliance reviews across jurisdictions;
• Prepare, draft and coordinate filings of legal documentation;
• Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with all relevant corporate requirements, including annual reporting and filing obligations of legal entities, across multiple jurisdictions;
• Provide regular reporting to clients on progress of tasks and volume of services;
• Maintain accurate and up-to date records of all legal entities, including by updating legal entity management databases;
• Liaise and coordinate with clients, relevant stakeholders and local partners to ensure timely completion of tasks;
• Implement our Kalexius project management principles on a daily basis.

PROFILE

• Law degree;
• 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in legal entity management;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English. Any other language will be considered an asset;
• Good legal analysis skills: ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations and case law.
• Ability to analyze and challenge legal opinions provided by local legal partners and clients;
• Proactive, curious, rigorous, detail-oriented, professional and organized (deadlines and priority management);
• Good oral communication skills;
• Sense of service and team spirit.
