Design Engineer - Fire Protection

Job Description

Haseen Habib Corporation, a leading fire protection and safety solutions company, is seeking a Design Engineer – Fire Protection to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in designing fire protection systems and working knowledge of international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop fire protection systems including:
  • Fire Hydrant Systems
  • Fire Alarm Systems
  • Fire Suppression Systems (Gas, Foam, etc.)
  • Fire Sprinkler Systems

• Prepare system drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material take-offs.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, UL, and FM standards.
• Coordinate with project, sales, and installation teams for technical support.
• Assist in design documentation, tender preparation, and client submissions.
• Participate in site visits for design verification and technical evaluation.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in fire protection system design.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with NFPA, UL, and FM standards.
  • Proficiency in HASS or other hydraulic design software.
  • Understanding of local fire safety and building regulations.

• Skills:
  • Strong written and spoken English communication.
  • Team player with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple design assignments effectively.
