As a Senior Mobile Games Producer focused on Live Operations, you will manage the ongoing

performance and evolution of a portfolio of existing mobile games. Your role will involve leading

cross-functional teams to optimize player engagement, retention, and monetization through

regular content updates, events, and promotions. You will also be responsible for monitoring key

performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring game stability, and driving the strategic direction of live

operations to maximize the games long-term success. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in

project and sprint planning to ensure the smooth execution of live operations initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Sprint Planning

Lead project planning efforts for live operations, including defining objectives, scope,

timelines, and resource requirements.

Organize and facilitate sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospective

meetings to ensure smooth workflow and effective collaboration.

Work closely with the development team to prioritize tasks and manage the backlog,

ensuring alignment with live operations goals and product vision.

Adapt project plans and sprint priorities based on real-time game performance, player

feedback, and business needs.

Live Operations Management

Plan, coordinate, and execute live events, content updates, and promotions to drive

player engagement and maximize revenue.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive live operations calendar, ensuring a steady flow

of new content and features.

Monitor in-game activity and player feedback to proactively address issues and identify

opportunities for enhancement.

KPI Monitoring & Analysis

Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as DAU, MAU, ARPDAU,

and retention rates, to assess the health and performance of each game in the portfolio.

Utilize data analytics tools to generate insights and reports that guide decision-making

and strategy adjustments.

Implement A/B testing and other data-driven experiments to optimize gameplay,

features, and monetization strategies.

Stability & Performance Assurance

Ensure the stability and performance of live updates by coordinating closely with QA and

technical teams.

Establish processes for rapid response and resolution of live operational issues to

minimize downtime and player disruption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with design, development, marketing, and community teams to ensure

alignment on live operations goals and seamless execution.

Coordinate with customer support teams to manage and respond to player issues and

feedback efficiently.

Partner with the user acquisition and retention teams to support initiatives that drive

player growth and engagement.

App management on Google Play and App Store

Oversee and manage app deployments on various app stores.

Create and configure in-app product identifiers (IDs) for seamless integration.

Maintain and manage app-related data and information across app store platforms.

Risk & Crisis Management

Identify potential risks in live operations planning and develop contingency plans to

mitigate them.

Lead the response to live issues, such as outages or game-breaking bugs, to restore

stability and player confidence quickly.

Qualifications

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in game production or live operations, with at least 3

years in a senior or lead role.

Proven experience managing live operations and development for mobile games,

especially within free-to-play models.

Skills

Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making and KPI analysis.

Excellent project management abilities, including the capability to prioritize and manage

multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and

collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

Knowledge

Deep understanding of live service best practices, player lifecycle management, and

monetization strategies.

Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Tableau) and project

management software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

Technical knowledge of mobile game development processes, server architecture, and

live operations tools.

Education

Bachelors degree in Game Design, Business, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent

experience).

Additional Requirements

Passion for mobile games and a commitment to delivering a high-quality player

experience.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate and resolve problems before they

impact players.

Experience with user acquisition, retention, and community management is a plus.
