We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Salesperson with hands-on experience in selling screw type air compressors and related industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical understanding, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to develop long-term customer relationships. This role is responsible for driving new business opportunities, supporting existing customers, and consistently achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial sector for screw type air compressors and related equipment.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable compressor solutions based on technical needs and applications.
  • Prepare quotations, follow up on proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and successfully close sales deals.
  • Conduct site visits, product presentations, and technical discussions with clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate with the technical and service teams to ensure smooth order execution and after-sales support.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and activity reports.
  • Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in selling screw compressors or related industrial/engineering equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of compressor technology, especially screw type air compressors and industrial applications.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts to customers with different technical backgrounds.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team.
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or a related field is preferred (but not mandatory).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools will be an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
