Were looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Vehicle Technician to join a busy, upmarket car dealership in Bridgend. If youve got at least 3 years of hands-on experience, hold an NVQ Level 3 (or are confidently time-served), and youre searching for a workplace that values both your time and your talent youre in the right place. About the Role
Youll be working within a well-organised, professional workshop that prioritises quality over speed. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and ensuring every vehicle meets the high standards customers expect from a premium dealership. Youll handle a variety of makes and models, so no two days will look the same.
Driving is essential for test drives and moving vehicles so youll need a valid UK licence. In this role, youll also have access to progression opportunities and ongoing training to help sharpen your technical skill set.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Key Duties

Perform diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and general maintenance

Use modern diagnostic tools to identify faults

Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and ensure roadworthiness

Carry out test drives where required

Maintain accurate records of work completed

Ensure workshop standards, safety, and housekeeping remain high

Work closely with workshop leads and service advisors to manage workflow
Key Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience as a Vehicle Technician

NVQ Level 3 or strong, proven time-served experience

Full UK driving licence

Confident with diagnostics, fault-finding, and repairs

Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering great work
