CNC Programmer, Setter, Turner

About the role
As a CNC Programmer, Setter, and Turner, you will be responsible for creating, testing, and troubleshooting programs for a range of CNC Multi Axis Lathes. You will be working with multi-axis sliding and fixed head lathes to produce intricate components for high-tech industries. The role involves programming from scratch, interpreting complex engineering drawings, setting up machines, and performing critical first-off inspections to ensure every part is crafted to tight tolerances. Youll be joining a stable and highly skilled workforce, contributing to the development of machining strategies for both new and existing parts.

Working hours
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 17:00
Friday: 08:00 12:00
Key duties
Create program for multi axis CNC lathes
Setting and operating multi-axis CNC Lathes
Creation of program / machine setting sheets
Running batch work, checking dimensions using various items of measuring equipment
Developing machining strategies with Engineering for new and existing parts
Key requirements
Programming and setting experience of CNC turning machines
Reading and understanding engineering drawings
Experience programming Fanuc controlled machine
Desirable
Previous experience of Ciziten Sliding head machines
Experience with Edgecam or equivalent programming software's
