About the Role


As Junior Sous Chef, youll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to help run daily service, maintain standards, and contribute to the evolving menu.
This is a hands-on role where youll get involved in everything from prep through to plating whether its a busy Saturday night or a laid-back midweek lunch. Youll have the freedom to cook with great produce, and the opportunity to learn and progress as part of a professional, supportive team.


Working Hours

This role offers a 5-day working week, aligning with typical hospitality industry hours. Flexibility is essential, as evenings, weekends, and holidays will be part of the working schedule to meet the needs of the bustling establishment.


Key Duties

  • Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef during service

  • Running your section to a high standard

  • Assisting with menu development and dish ideas

  • Maintaining stock levels and assisting with ordering

  • Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met



Key Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous in a fresh food kitchen

  • Confident working with seasonal, quality ingredients

  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety

  • Calm and organised under pressure

  • Eager to learn and progress within the team
