Job Title: HGV Mechanic

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a diverse range of HGVs and other commercial vehicles. You'll diagnose faults, perform regular inspections, and ensure all vehicles are safe and roadworthy. Your expertise will help maintain the high standards of our client's transport services, plus third party clients with maintenance contracts, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
Alternate Saturdays
40 hours per week + Overtime
Key Duties
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs
Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Maintain accurate records of work performed
Key Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic
Strong diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred)
