Field Service Engineer
£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Covering: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Hertfordshire
Full-time | Permanent | Monday to Friday, 8:30 am 4:30 pm
Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with a passion for technology and improving healthcare environments? Were hiring a skilled engineer to install and maintain nurse call systems across hospitals and care homes in the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Hertfordshire areas.
The Role:
Youll play a vital role in ensuring essential nurse call systems are fully operational, supporting healthcare teams in delivering high-quality care. This is a field-based position that combines hands-on work, technical problem-solving, and excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities include:

Installation, maintenance, and servicing of nurse call systems at client sites

Diagnosing and repairing faults quickly and effectively

Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance

Providing technical support and basic training to staff on-site

Keeping accurate records and reporting repeat issues

Participating in an on-call overnight support rota
What We're Looking For:

Minimum 3 years experience in a field-based engineering role

Qualification in electronics, electrical engineering, or software-related discipline

Full UK driving licence

Strong troubleshooting and technical skills

Good communication and customer service abilities

Flexibility to travel across regions and stay overnight when required
