Gas Engineer £38,000 to £50,000 per year or £150£400/day DOE + overtime
Location: Haverhill (covering East Anglia)

About the Role

Youll mainly focus on gas installations across domestic properties including combi, system, and conventional boiler installs, along with full heating and hot-water systems. Alongside installs, youll handle a variety of gas-related work such as servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and safety checks.
The role is based out of Haverhill while covering the wider East Anglia area. Youll travel to multiple sites, delivering safe, high-standard work with professionalism, care, and attention to detail.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00
  • Option to work self-employed or employed
  • Must have own tools

Key Duties

  • Install gas boilers (combi, system, conventional) and full heating/hot-water systems.
  • Carry out all gas-related tasks: servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, safety checks, pipework, radiators, etc.
  • Ensure all work complies with current safety and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain high levels of workmanship, cleanliness, and professionalism.
  • Travel across East Anglia, managing your workload and liaising with customers effectively.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Gas Engineer.
  • Relevant gas qualifications / Gas Safe registration (or equivalent).
  • Unvented and LPG qualifications are a strong bonus.
  • Own tools required.
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
  • Must be able to travel across East Anglia.
