CNC Miller (Programmer/Setter)
Up to £19 per hour
Bideford, North Devon
Are you a highly experienced CNC Miller with a sharp eye for detail? If so here at Kamro we have partnered up with a precision machining company who are looking for someone to join their CNC Milling department. This is an opportunity to put your programming and setting abilities to the test on state-of-the-art multi-axis machinery.
About the role
In this role, you will be a key player in the manufacturing process, taking responsibility for your work from start to finish. From creating precise programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines to setting up machines, running initial tests, and meticulously inspecting first-off parts using high-quality measuring equipment.
You will be instrumental in developing efficient machining strategies, ensuring parts are produced to the exacting standards required by the aerospace, autosport, and medical sectors.

Working hours
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 17:00
Friday: 08:00 12:00
Key duties
Set CNC mills ensuring parts are correct to drawing specifications
Machine components to meet drawing tolerances
Create programs for 3; 4 & 5 axis CNC mills
Following job route cards (process sheets)
Running batch work, checking dimensions using various items of measuring equipment
Key requirements
Experience as a CNC Miller, ( Hurco Milling Machines)
Knowledge of HyperMILL or similar programming software's
Reading and understanding engineering drawings
