Our flagship product revolves around a unique approach to textile sustainability and re-evaluation of garments already in circulation. To this end, we are leveraging advanced machine learning and mathematical modeling techniques, and are looking for the right team to build with.
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer & Modeler with expertise in 2D design and modeling to join our team. Your primary role will involve creating high-quality graphics and 2D patterns and creating high quality 3D representations of those patterns for our application, guiding users on how to work with their real-life, physical garments. You will play a pivotal role in translating our vision into compelling visual content.
Key Responsibilities
Design intricate 2D patterns that will be used for garment upcycling, ensuring they're both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Create detailed models of garments,as well as generate characters, rig and pose them, as well as clothe them to allow users to visualize the upcycling process.
Collaborate with the UI/UX team to ensure graphics and models are seamlessly integrated into the app.
Participate in brainstorming sessions, and use feedback from users and the team to iteratively refine and improve graphics and models.
Maintain consistent branding across all visual elements, aligning with the company's ethos and vision.
Stay updated on the latest design trends, 2D/3D modeling techniques, and technologies to ensure our visuals remain cutting-edge.
Game design, environmental design, preparation for animations, texture creation and texturing, shader creation, rigging, animation, human anatomy, sculpting, architecture principles
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Graphic Design, 2D/3D Parametric and Traditional Modeling, with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in design and modeling tools such as 3Ds Max, Blender, Adobe Substance Designer and Painter, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, ZBrush, or similar. Marvelous Designer and clo3D is a big plus!
Experience working with WebGL, Three.JS integrations is a plus.
A deep understanding of colors, typography, and layout design.
Ability to conceptualize and transform ideas into captivating visual content.
Strong communication skills (fluent English!) and an aptitude for teamwork.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
