Handyman Project Manager

We are looking for a hands-on professional to lead and deliver property maintenance services across a variety of client accounts in Greater Vancouver. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the tools, solving problems on-site, and also has the organizational skills to manage projects, staff, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to property maintenance calls and carry out hands-on repairs as needed (basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general handyman work).
  • Manage and coordinate property maintenance projects for multiple accounts.
  • Supervise staff and subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing responsive and professional service.
  • Assess property-related issues, troubleshoot effectively, and determine the right solution.
  • Handle project administration including scheduling, reporting, and budget tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in property maintenance, facility services, or a handyman/working supervisor role.
  • Strong hands-on skills with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs (formal trade certification not required).
  • Ability to balance fieldwork with project management and client communication.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Valid drivers license
