Finance & Accounting Director
Reporting to: CEO / Managing Director
Industry: Restaurant / Food & Beverage / Food Retail

Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Finance & Accounting Leadership

• Oversee full spectrum of Finance & Accounting functions, including: Financial & Management Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow Management, Tax Planning and Compliance, Internal Control and Financial Governance
• Ensure statutory financial statements comply with TFRS / IFRS
• Act as key liaison with external auditors and regulators
  

2. Strategic Finance & Business Partnership

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to CEO and Executive Team
• Provide financial insights on: Store-level P&L performance, Food cost, labor cost, rental and operating expenses
• Support strategic initiatives including: New store openings, Investment, franchise and joint venture projects, Feasibility studies and financial modeling

3. Performance & Profitability Management

• Monitor and improve Gross Margin, EBITDA, and cash flow efficiency
• Work closely with Operations to drive cost optimization and profitability
• Develop KPI dashboards and performance reports for management

4. Group & Expansion Management

• Lead group consolidation and financial governance across subsidiaries
• Establish financial policies, SOPs, and standardized reporting frameworks
• Support multi-branch and potential multi-country expansion

5. Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead, coach, and develop Finance & Accounting teams
• Design effective organization structure and workflow
• Promote a culture where Finance acts as a business partner, not only a control function

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting
• Strong experience in restaurant, food retail, or hospitality business is required
• Solid expertise in: Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, Store P&L and multi-branch operations, IFRS / TFRS and taxation
• Experience in restaurant chains, franchise operations, IPO, M&A, or investment projects is a strong advantage
