Job Summary:
The Chief People Officer (CPO) is the senior HR executive responsible for leading the overall People & Organization strategy across the Group. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CPO serves as a strategic business partner to the Executive Leadership Team, driving organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and people transformation to support sustainable business growth and regional expansion.
The role oversees the full spectrum of Human Resources across Thailand and regional operations, including People Strategy, Organizational Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Total Rewards, Performance Management, Employee Relations, HR Operations, HR Transformation, Digital HR, and Employee Engagement. The CPO is expected to build a high-performing, agile organization while ensuring HR strategies are closely aligned with business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
People Strategy & Business Partnership
- Develop and execute the Group People Strategy aligned with corporate objectives and long-term business growth.
- Partner closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on organizational, leadership, and workforce strategies.
- Translate business priorities into effective people initiatives and scalable HR operating models.
Organization Development & Transformation
- Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Drive business transformation, change management, and culture development across the organization.
- Build an agile, high-performance organization with strong accountability and operational excellence.
Talent & Leadership Development
- Lead executive talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership pipeline development.
- Design and implement talent management and high-potential development programs.
- Strengthen leadership capability and organizational readiness to support future growth.
Performance, Rewards & HR Analytics
- Oversee Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, and Total Rewards strategies.
- Ensure reward programs remain competitive and aligned with business performance.
- Utilize HR analytics and workforce data to support strategic decision-making and organizational improvement.
HR Operations, Governance & Employee Relations
- Lead HR Operations, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, HR Governance, and policy implementation.
- Ensure compliance with Thai labor laws, employment regulations, and corporate governance standards.
- Enhance HR service delivery, employee experience, and HR operational efficiency.
Regional HR Leadership
- Provide strategic HR leadership across Thailand and regional operations.
- Ensure alignment of Group HR policies while considering local business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Support and develop HR leadership capabilities across multiple countries.
Culture, Engagement & HR Digital Transformation
- Strengthening organizational culture, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness.
- Lead HR transformation initiatives through digitalization, HR technology, AI, and process improvement.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance workplace that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Approximately 20+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant experience in senior HR leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading HR organizations supporting 1,000+ employees with responsibility for a sizeable HR team (approximately 30+ HR professionals).
- Strong background within FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Retail, or other fast-paced, growth-oriented organizations.
- Experience managing HR across multiple business units, manufacturing plants, and regional operations; Southeast Asia experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in People Strategy, Organizational Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, HR Transformation, and Change Management.
- Strong understanding of Thai Labor Law, HR governance, compliance, and employment regulations.
- Proven experience partnering with CEO, Executive Committee, and senior business leaders to align people strategy with business objectives.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic leadership and operational execution.
- Experience leading HR digital transformation, HR technology implementation, HR analytics, and AI-enabled HR initiatives is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and change leadership skills.
- High level of integrity, executive presence, and the ability to lead large, complex, and multicultural organizations.
- Fluently in Thai and English, both written and spoken.
