Collections Strategy & Analytics

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor key collections performance metrics and KPIs, providing data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to management during weekly performance reviews.
• Partner closely with the Collections Operations team to ensure effective execution of collection strategies and operational initiatives.
• Analyze portfolio performance and continuously evaluate, develop, and optimize collection strategies to improve recovery and overall portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with the Data Science and Analytics teams to leverage advanced analytics and data-driven approaches in collections strategy development.
• Design, implement, and evaluate A/B testing to identify effective collection approaches and improve recovery rates and operational effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to enhance collection effectiveness, efficiency, customer outcomes, and portfolio performance through data analysis and process improvement.
• Support new product and program launches, process enhancements, system initiatives, and other business transformation projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure successful implementation of collection strategies and initiatives.
• Prepare and present analytical findings, performance insights, and strategic recommendations to relevant stakeholders and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Collections, Collection Strategy, Risk Management, Business Strategy, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience using SQL, Python, SAS, or R.
• Experience in collections strategy, portfolio analytics, performance monitoring, or financial services is highly preferred.
• Experience with collection management systems, decision engines, or related platforms would be an advantage.
• Ability to translate complex data and analytical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good written and spoken English, with the ability to work effectively in a regional and cross-functional environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and data-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
