About this job

Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Compensation: To be discussed based on experience, with equity option

What you'll be doing:

• Learn and contribute to building mobile automated test scripts (Android/iOS) using tools such as Appium or Flutter Support the QA team in converting manual test cases into automated scripts Execute, maintain, and monitor automated regression and smoke tests for mobile applications
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Developer, and stakeholders to ensure product strategy is aligned. Assist in analyzing test results and reporting bugs clearly with detailed reproduction steps
• Continuously improve testing practices by learning new frameworks and tools under guidance from team members

Qualifications

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
2. At least 1 year of experience in QA Automation, with hands-on mobile automation testing (Appium, Flutter, or equivalent)
3. Basic to intermediate understanding of mobile applications (Android / iOS)
4. Ability to write and debug test scripts in at least one programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python)
5. Experience with software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, exploratory)
6. Familiar with version control systems (Git) and Agile development process
7. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving mindset
8. Proficient communication in English

Its great if you have

• Experience with API testing
• Working with emulators/simulators
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Jira, or similar)
• A passion for automation and improving developer/tester workflows
