Corporate Legal Manager
About the job Corporate Legal Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, review, revise, and negotiate various legal contracts, agreements, and documents, ensuring alignment with the organizations legal and business interests.
- Develop, maintain, and lead contracting processes, including negotiations and interactions with internal departments (BD, PD, finance, etc.), government agencies, and external stakeholders (outside counsel, regulators, client/vendor legal teams).
- Manage and oversee corporate documentation, including policies, regulations, POAs, essential documents, agreements, permits, and licenses.
- Prepare reports on task/project management for supervisors and the management team, offering recommendations as necessary.
- Provide legal advice to ensure that company operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research as required.
- Prepare updates and reports on laws and regulations relevant to assigned projects.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide legal solutions on assigned projects.
Job Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Law.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including legal research, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating across various areas of law.
- A lawyer license and/or qualification as a Thai barrister-at-law is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of contract, commercial, and general business laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with business transactions (from legal and commercial perspectives), including M&A, JV, project finance, and shareholder arrangements.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to travel and work both domestically and internationally.
- Strong management, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (minimum TOEIC score of 750 is preferred).
