General Description:
The Supply Chain Department Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process within the FMCG industry. This includes procurement, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and process improvement skills to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management Lead and coordinate supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods from sourcing to final delivery.
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Implement and manage the S&OP process to align supply and demand, optimize inventory levels, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Procurement & Supplier Management Oversee procurement of raw materials, packaging, and ingredients while ensuring transparency, cost-effectiveness, and strong supplier relationships.
- Process Improvement Continuously analyze and refine supply chain processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Risk Management & Compliance Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to company policies and legal regulations to mitigate business risks.
- Logistics & Distribution Optimize logistics and distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective product deliveries.
- Team Leadership Manage and develop the supply chain team, tracking performance through KPIs and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to drive business objectives and supply chain efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in supply chain management within the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, production planning, and inventory management.
- Experience in implementing S&OP processes and supply chain optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to negotiate and build strong supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and data analysis tools.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
