Customs Specialist(Chinese Speaking)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage logistics operations in alignment with the company's business objectives while optimizing transportation costs and service performance.
• Monitor and maintain customs compliance, support AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) initiatives, and continuously improve customs-related processes and systems.
• Coordinate with the Customs Department and relevant government authorities to manage import/export licenses, permits, and regulatory documentation.
• Review and verify HS Codes, import/export declarations, and shipping documentation to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Oversee customs clearance activities, cargo release processes, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers to ensure timely and compliant import and export operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chinese, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Customs, Import & Export Operations, or International Logistics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP, and other relevant logistics or ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and HS Code classification.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
