We are seeking a professional German-speaking Travel Support Specialist to join our international aviation and tourism division. In this role, you will act as a dedicated consultant for German, Austrian, and Swiss travelers, ensuring their journey is seamless from the first booking to the return flight. Based in Greece, you will trade the gray skies of Northern Europe for a career defined by 300 days of sunshine, a lower cost of living, and a work-life balance that allows you to explore the history and islands of the Mediterranean.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel Consulting: Assist German-speaking customers with flight reservations, hotel bookings, and vacation packages via phone and digital channels.
- Itinerary Management: Manage complex re-bookings, cancellations, and schedule changes with professional efficiency and precision.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve inquiries regarding baggage claims, travel insurance, and loyalty programs (Miles & More, etc.) while maintaining high service standards.
- Technical Support: Guide users through web check-in processes, mobile travel app navigation, and digital boarding pass issues.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all interactions meet international aviation and travel industry regulations.
Requirements
- Language: Native or C2-level German and professional proficiency in English.
- Legal: Mandatory EU Passport or a valid permit to work in Greece. (Note: Residence permits from other EU member states are not valid for employment in Greece).
- Professionalism: A calm, solution-oriented communication style and a passion for the travel industry.
- Skills: Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to learn Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and CRM tools.
- Experience: Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, or airline support is a strong advantage.
