About the job Physiotherapists

Physiotherapists – Full-Time, Permanent | NRW Region, Germany

Role Overview

An exceptional, long-term career opportunity has opened for ten qualified and dedicated Physiotherapists to join a premier healthcare, hospital, and rehabilitation network spanning the North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) region. Positioned within a renowned medical group—the same employer anchoring our prominent nursing positions—these roles offer a highly stable, structured environment. You will work within modern, fully equipped therapeutic facilities, treating a diverse mix of orthopedic, neurological, and acute post-operative patients.

Whether you are fully recognized in Germany or a qualified international therapist with a strong command of the German language, this employer offers a seamless, highly supportive integration pathway.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Evaluation & Therapy: Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, identify movement limitations, and map out structured, goal-oriented treatment programs.
  • Clinical Execution: Administer evidence-based manual therapy, specialized exercise regimens, lymphatic drainage, and functional physical training.
  • Patient Progression: Support individuals across both acute hospital wards and long-term rehabilitation cycles to restore maximum mobility and independence.
  • Interdisciplinary Care: Collaborate daily with multidisciplinary clinical teams—including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff—to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Regulatory Documentation: Maintain thorough, detailed, and legally compliant electronic health records tracking therapeutic interventions and patient progression.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: A successfully completed degree or diploma in Physiotherapy from an accredited educational institution.
  • Home-Country Licensure: You must hold an active, unrestricted license/registration to practice physiotherapy in your home country or jurisdiction.
  • Language Proficiency: A minimum of B2 German language proficiency is strictly mandatory. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for both immediate patient interaction and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Professional Recognition Status (Two Integration Pathways):

    • Priority 1: Candidates possessing full German professional recognition (Urkunde / vollständige Anerkennung) as a Physiotherapeut/in are highly preferred.
    • Priority 2: Candidates who have achieved a B2 German level but are not yet fully recognized will be considered, provided they have a clean, complete set of qualification documents. The employer will fully guide and support you through the official German recognition (Anerkennung) process.
  • Geographic Sourcing: Sourcing will primarily focus on candidates currently located within Europe to facilitate faster credential and processing timelines; however, exceptional international applicants who meet all baseline criteria are encouraged to apply.

Key Offerings & Compensation

  • Contract & Security: Secure, full-time, permanent German employment contract within an established, reputable healthcare framework.
  • Working Hours: Regular full-time hours (typically around 39 hours per week), strictly structured according to German tariff regulations.
  • Base Salary Range: €3,500 to €4,200 gross/month. The final placement figure depends on your years of professional experience, specific certifications, and official German Anerkennung status.

    • Note: This base range represents tariff-backed orientations and does not include additional variables such as shift allowances, weekend premiums, or overtime pay.
  • On-Site Relocation Support: Access to highly affordable, company-subsidized accommodation located directly at or near the medical facility to guarantee a stress-free settling-in process.
  • Bureaucratic Guidance: End-to-end navigational assistance through the official German therapeutic recognition bureaucracy. For candidates meeting the baseline criteria, this process typically spans between a few months to half a year and is heavily subsidized or fully covered by government funding programs.
