Salary: €90,000 – €110,000+ (Commensurate with seniority)

The Vision

We are looking for a powerhouse leader to drive our MAITE operations in the Mediterranean tech hub of Valencia. As the Head of MAITE, you are the custodian of the satellite's physical journey—from the first component assembly to the final environmental test.

In this executive-level role, you will lead the strategic vision for our manufacturing and integration facilities, ensuring that our satellite systems are built to withstand the harshest environments while maintaining the highest levels of performance.

The Role

You will be the primary authority for the Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, Testing, and Engineering division, bridging the gap between high-level engineering concepts and flight-ready hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Oversight: Lead the strategy for satellite assembly, integration, and testing (AIT), ensuring all production phases align with mission objectives.
• Operational Excellence: Optimize manufacturing workflows and cleanroom operations to meet rigorous launch schedules and quality benchmarks.
• Executive Leadership: Manage, mentor, and scale a multi-disciplinary engineering team, driving a culture of precision and accountability.
• Technical Integration: Act as the key liaison between the production floor and the design teams to implement "Design for Manufacturing" (DfM) best practices.
• Resource Management: Oversee departmental budgeting, facility upgrades, and equipment procurement to keep our Valencia site at the cutting edge.

Your Profile

We are seeking a veteran of the aerospace industry—someone whose career is defined by high-stakes missions and technical mastery.

Critical Requirements:

• Space Industry Heritage: A comprehensive background in Space, with a strong preference for those with direct Satellite manufacturing experience.
• Extensive Leadership: A minimum of 15+ years of professional experience in space-related engineering, AIT, or production.
• Technical Authority: Proven expertise in AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Testing), Production Management, or Advanced Space Manufacturing.
• Clearance & Eligibility: Ability to obtain security clearance
• Language: Professional fluency in English is the only requirement. (Spanish is not required but may assist in daily local life).
