Role Overview An exceptional opportunity is available with a global leader in travel management, corporate card, and corporate expense solutions. As a German-speaking Business Travel Consultant, you will deliver premium, end-to-end booking support to elite corporate travelers worldwide. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work model, allowing you to work primarily from home with occasional days at a modern office hub in Berlin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Corporate Travel Booking: Manage complex bookings for international business travel, including flights, rail travel, hotel accommodations, and auxiliary transit services.
  • Multichannel Client Support: Provide "white-glove" support to corporate travelers via live phone calls, emails, and chat windows to maintain smooth transit and resolve travel disruptions.
  • System Operations: Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to check real-time availability, issue tickets, and handle modifications.
  • Self-Service Support: Guide business clients through mobile applications and digital self-service tools on the travel platform.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all individual itineraries rigorously align with company-specific and client-mandated corporate travel and expense policies.
  • SLA Performance: Respond to inquiries within timelines defined by Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Languages: Fluent or native-level proficiency in German (C1 level minimum) alongside working capabilities in English.
  • GDS Mastery: 3+ years of mandatory, professional experience utilizing Global Distribution Systems (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo).
  • Sector Experience: 5+ years of total experience specifically within a Business Travel Consultant or corporate travel environment.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with customer experience and ticketing software such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Slack, and Google Workspace tools.
  • Shift Flexibility: Comfortable working rotating shifts (Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 19:00 CEST), with schedules rotating every 3 months.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, multitasking capabilities, empathy, and professional communication skills under tight timelines.
