The Mission

We are seeking a high-caliber Head of MAITE to join a fast-growing satellite manufacturer in Valencia. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on driving the industrialization and ramp-up of spacecraft manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for leading the transition from complex designs to scalable production.

What You'll Do

• Lead Operations: Oversee the entire Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Testing (MAITE) lifecycle for advanced satellite systems.

• Industrialize: Drive the strategy for scaling up production and optimizing manufacturing workflows.

• Team Leadership: Provide extensive leadership for AIT projects, managing technical teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Technical Excellence: Utilize your hands-on technical background to ensure mission success and high-quality spacecraft output.

Must-Have Criteria

• Space Industry Expertise: You must have a strong background in the Space industry, ideally specifically with Satellites.

• Senior Experience: A minimum of 15+ years of professional experience.

• Core Competencies: Extensive experience in AIT, Assembly, or Production/Manufacturing within the Space sector.

• Leadership Track Record: Proven experience leading complex space projects (Head of or Lead roles).

• Technical Skillset: Career-long hands-on technical roles with knowledge of Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) being a significant advantage.

• Citizenship: EU citizenship is preferred to facilitate security clearance checks.
