Senior O2C Specialist – Diabetes Medical Devices (German)

Introduction

We are seeking a Senior Order-to-Cash (O2C) Specialist with German language skills to join a fast-paced financial operations team supporting diabetes medical devices. Based in Porto, Portugal, you will play a key role in the financial and order management process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent service delivery to German-speaking stakeholders across the region.

Relocation to Portugal is required. A comprehensive relocation package is provided, including flight tickets, hotel accommodation, and full relocation assistance.

We can proceed only with candidates who hold an EU passport or a valid work permit for Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Order to Cash (O2C) processes for diabetes medical device accounts
• Ensure accurate and timely order entry, invoicing, and revenue recognition
• Monitor accounts receivable and support collections activities when needed
• Handle complex billing queries and resolve discrepancies in a professional manner
• Collaborate with internal finance, sales, and customer service teams to optimize processes

• Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and internal controls

• Deliver excellent service to German-speaking customers and internal stakeholders

• Mentor and support junior team members to develop best practices

Requirements

• Fluency in German (written and spoken)

• Strong command of English

• Proven experience in Order to Cash, receivables, billing, or related financial operations

• Solid understanding of finance, accounting principles, and ERP systems

• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently

• Previous experience in the medical devices or healthcare sector is an advantage

• EU passport or valid Portuguese work permit (mandatory)
