Introduction

A leading travel management and expense solutions company is seeking a French-speaking Senior Business Travel Consultant to join their team in Portugal. This role focuses on providing premium support to corporate travelers, managing complex bookings for flights, rail, and accommodations. This is a full-time position offering high flexibility with options for fully remote work across Portugal or a hybrid model in Lisbon.

Your Role

• Corporate Support: Deliver high-quality assistance via chat, phone, and email to ensure a seamless business travel experience.
• Complex Bookings: Manage and execute intricate travel arrangements, including air, rail, and hotel services, while staying updated on global destinations.
• Platform Assistance: Help customers navigate self-service travel platforms and mobile apps effectively.
• Compliance & Policy: Ensure all arrangements align strictly with company and customer travel policies and global standards.
• Performance Excellence: Meet timely response targets (SLAs) and participate in industry trend discussions to improve service delivery.
• Stakeholder Feedback: Provide valuable insights to stakeholders regarding process improvements and service quality.

Your Qualifications

• Languages: Fluent French (C1 level, written and spoken).
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a business travel consultant role, specifically handling air, rail, and accommodation.
• GDS Mastery: Mandatory 3+ years of experience with Global Distribution Systems (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with tools like Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce.
• Soft Skills: Professional, empathetic communicator with strong multitasking and independent problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility: Availability for rotating shifts (Monday–Sunday, 07:00 – 23:00).
• Languages: Additional skills in German, Spanish, or Italian are considered a plus.
