A global customer experience leader is seeking an Austrian German-speaking Content Moderator for a specialized e-commerce project in Lisbon, Portugal. In this role, you will be the guardian of quality and safety for a popular e-commerce platform, ensuring that all user-generated content, products, and services comply with legal standards and platform policies. This is a high-impact position that requires a deep understanding of local linguistic nuances and market-specific context.

Your Role

• Policy Enforcement: Review user-generated content (text, images, media) to ensure it aligns with strict platform policies and legal requirements.
• Accuracy & Quality: Maintain high levels of precision and attention to detail while meeting established quality and latency metrics.
• Incident Escalation: Identify and escalate sensitive content or complex issues according to internal protocols.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on evolving content moderation guidelines, safety policies, and local regulations.
• Peak Adaptation: Support content safety during promotional season peaks and across various media formats.
• Schedule: Full-time role with 24/7 rotational shifts and two rotational days off per week.

Your Qualifications

• Languages: Native-level fluency specifically in Austrian German (C2/Native). Standard German is not accepted for this role, as it requires deep familiarity with Austrian linguistic nuances and expressions.
• English Proficiency: Good command of English (minimum B2 level) for training and internal communication.
• Skills: Strong decision-making abilities and excellent written communication skills.
• Expertise: A strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and user behavior.
• Resilience: Ability to handle sensitive or challenging content and work effectively in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
• Experience: Prior experience in content moderation, customer service, or a similar digital field is considered a major asset.
