Job Summary
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant II to provide advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative support to department management. This role will handle daily administrative activities, coordinate office functions, and support departmental operations with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of administrative duties including word processing, record keeping, and filing.

Arrange meetings, schedule activities, and prepare agendas.
- Maintain department documents in compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations, often of a confidential nature.

Provide office management support for departmental leadership.

Initiate contract requisitions and process contract changes as directed.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Assist in the coordination of department projects and tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintain professional interactions with internal staff, senior management, and external stakeholders.

Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
Nuclear industry experience preferred.
Required Education and Experience
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of four years of progressive administrative experience, including leadership responsibilities and independent decision-making.
- Demonstrated record of professional development related to job enhancement or career growth.
Desired Education and Experience

Knowledge and experience using Asset Suite and SharePoint.
Required Abilities and Skills
