Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist III to provide advanced administrative and technical support to the Accounting & Budgets Director, direct reports, and nuclear projects personnel. This role requires minimal supervision and includes leadership responsibilities on complex projects and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing confidential technical duties, coordinating meetings, tracking action items, and supporting budget administration to ensure smooth department operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and technical support including meeting coordination, action tracking, and preparation of correspondence and reports.
- Maintain and monitor department schedules, budgets, and credit card administration.
- Administer travel and training programs ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist with contract preparation and processing in collaboration with managers and supervisors.
- Facilitate communication between management, employees, and external stakeholders by gathering and acting on feedback.
- Support in-processing and access authorization for contractors and visitors.
- Perform data entry and maintain performance indicators related to department functions.
- Participate in Emergency Response Team and outage assignments as directed.
- Anticipate departmental needs and recommend process improvements in collaboration with management.
- Ensure qualifications and refresher training are tracked and completed for department personnel.
Qualifications & Skills
Nuclear experience preferred.
Required Education and Experience
Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED AND a minimum of five years of progressive administrative experience, including leadership and independent decision-making authority.
Desired Education and Experience
- Associate or Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
- Seven or more years of administrative experience typically required to perform at this level.
Required Abilities and Skills
Candidates must demonstrate the following:
- Familiarity with Corrective Action Program and Action Tracking Process.
- Knowledge of records management and control of proprietary documents.
- Experience creating contract requisitions and contract change requests.
- Ability to research, analyze, and interpret data to develop effective solutions.
