Job Summary
We are seeking a Procurement Expediter to join our Nuclear Project teams. The Procurement Expediter will be responsible for ensuring that materials, equipment, and services required for nuclear plant operations and maintenance are delivered on time and in accordance with project schedules. This role serves as the critical link between procurement, suppliers, and project execution teams to prevent delays and maintain operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor purchase orders and track the status of materials, equipment, and services from order placement through delivery.
- Proactively follow up with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely shipment and resolve delays.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and maintenance teams to prioritize critical orders.
- Expedite materials needed to support nuclear maintenance, outages, and project schedules.
- Maintain accurate records in procurement and materials management systems.

Communicate status updates and potential risks to stakeholders.
- Ensure materials meet required specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements before delivery.
- Support inventory management by confirming receipt of goods and addressing discrepancies.
Qualifications & Skills
MUST HAVE NUCLEAR PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement expediting, supply chain, or materials coordination, preferably in a nuclear power, utility, or heavy industrial environment.
Required Abilities and Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of procurement systems, materials management, and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Ability to read and understand basic technical specifications and material requirements.
