Business Development Supervisor

 Job Description:

The Business Development Assist Supervisor/ Supervisor for the Deposit Business Unit will be responsible for overseeing and managing the growth and development of the banks deposit products. This role involves developing strategies to increase deposit volumes by managing relationships with Stakeholders. The supervisor will also Lead a team to achieve business objectives. Support both Corporate and Retail business to meet the requirements by collaborating product penetration. Arrange new product introduction workshops to get more awareness in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development fact-based strategies to drive growth in deposit.
  • Identify market opportunities and trends to enhance the banks deposit offerings.
  • Set the deposit target in line with the banks target for Territories and Customer Coverage Team. Ensure and drive to achieve the target.
  • Arrange an appointment with partnership companies which are related to new products.
  • Manage the communication between internal stakeholders, partners.
  • Response to clients/ partners inquiry about product information in a timely manner.
  • Arrange workshops for product introduction in both public and private sectors.
  • Deliver the product feedback to the internal product team as good intention.
  • Analyse market situations and conduct business health checks based on the data. Then propose alternative strategies to achieve the target.
  • Prepare the proposal to management for the campaigns. Work closely with the marketing department to develop promotional campaigns for deposit products. And responsible for evaluating and measuring the result of the campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the legal & compliance department to ensure all activities meet regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and competitive trends.
  • Analyse data to track performance and make informed business decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in any field.
  • Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing,Sales.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Especially in Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Prefer banking industry experience.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
