Team Lead - Credit Risk Reporting
Job Description:
The individual in this role is to oversees credit portfolio monitoring and reporting, ensures regulatory compliance, supports policy implementation, and provides guidance to team members.
- Assist the Deputy Head in monitoring the credit portfolio by preparing regular portfolio analysis reports to track key credit risk indicators.
- Support the development of monthly credit report and reports for management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Review and analyze the drivers of significant changes in the portfolio and propose appropriate action plans.
- Oversee the preparation of both internal and external regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of reports prepared by team members before submitting to the Deputy Head for final approval.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by coordinating internal reviews and follow-ups with relevant departments.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of policies and procedures related to credit risk management, ensuring alignment with regulatory guidelines and internal risk appetite.
- Support the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving data quality, reporting accuracy, and portfolio monitoring processes.
- Supervise and guide team members in their daily tasks, ensuring clarity of roles, proper workload distribution, and timely completion of deliverables.
- Provide coaching and technical guidance to team members to enhance their analytical and reporting skills.
- Conduct regular check-ins with team members to monitor progress and resolve any issues or obstacles they may encounter.
- Support the preparation of materials for senior management meetings, such as Risk Committee, Board Credit Committee, and other governance forums.
- Set performance objectives for team members in line with department goals and assess their performance periodically.
- Identify training and development needs of team members and recommend appropriate learning opportunities to enhance their capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Having 3-5 years experience in Finance, Analysis and/or related field.
- Bachelors degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
