Data Analyst
Job Description:
The Data Analytics Officer for a lending businesss primary responsibility would be to analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide insights into the lending portfolio's performance, customer behaviour, and risk profile. To be successful in this role, the individual will need to have strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analytics tools and software, and a solid understanding of lending and risk management principles. Additionally, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the individual will be working closely with stakeholders across the organization to drive business outcomes.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze large data sets from various sources to identify trends and patterns, and produce actionable insights to support business decision-making.
- Performance Reporting: Create and maintain performance reports that measure the lending portfolio's performance against key metrics, including loan growth, delinquency rates, and profitability.
- Risk Management: Conduct risk analysis of the lending portfolio to identify areas of potential risk, and provide recommendations to mitigate risk.
- Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement predictive models to forecast customer behavior, such as default rates, and to identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
- Business Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop business strategies that are based on data insights and aligned with business objectives.
- Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations that clearly communicate complex data insights to business stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve data analysis processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Data Governance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data governance policies, including data privacy and security.
Job Requirement
- Bachelors Degree in Analytics or computer science
- Ability to command both spoken and written in Myanmar and English.
- Possess problem solving skills, professional maturity, communication skills and ability to work independent
- At least 4 year(s) of working experience in data management.
- Experience working in of banking / financial services would be an added advantage.
