Seeking a MRI Supervisor in Berlin, Vermont- $15K Sign On Bonus

Position: MRI Supervisor

The MRI Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the MRI department at our facility in Berlin, Vermont. This includes managing a team of MRI technologists, ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining equipment and supplies, and implementing and enforcing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage a team of MRI technologists, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

- Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the MRI department

- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment and ensure proper functioning

- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality control standards

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and ensure high-quality patient care

- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients

- Manage and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment

- Stay up-to-date with advancements in MRI technology and procedures

- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities

- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed

- Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MRI technologist, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

- ARRT (MR) certification required

- State licensure or certification as required by law

- Strong leadership and management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and quality control standards

- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency in using MRI equipment and software

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
