Position: Renal Nurse Supervisor
As a Renal Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our renal unit and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients with kidney diseases. You will also be responsible for managing a team of nurses and providing leadership and support to ensure the smooth functioning of the unit.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the renal unit, including patient care, staff scheduling, and budget management.
- Ensure that all patients receive individualized, evidence-based care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Manage a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and orientation of new staff members.
- Provide ongoing education and training to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Handle any patient or staff concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Must-Haves for Renal Nurse Supervisor:
1. Dialysis unit leadership experience (as a Facility Administrator, Nurse Manager, clinical manager etc)
2. Two+ years experience as a dialysis RN.
3. Recent experience in dialysis, not in distant past
4. Active Vermont nursing license (or willingness to obtain)
5. People management experience (recruiting, hiring, training, performance management, team building etc)
Nice-To-Haves
1. Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree
2. Experience with dialysis unit surveys
3. Experience with Quality improvement initiatives
Contract Details:
