This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and a generous $20,000 sign-on bonus.This area in Utah is an outdoor Paradise- From Flaming Gorge Reservoir to the primitive areas of the Uinta Mountains, outdoor recreation is at your doorstep.

As the Director of Med Surg and ICU, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and management of the medical-surgical and intensive care units within our facility. You will work closely with the executive team to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction, while also maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment for our staff.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

- Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes in the medical-surgical and ICU units

- Managing and coordinating the daily operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation

- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards

- Collaborating with other departments to promote interdisciplinary teamwork and communication

- Hiring, training, and evaluating staff to maintain a high-performing team

- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

- Maintaining a safe and positive work environment for all staff members

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, Master's degree preferred

- Current RN license in the state of Utah

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in Med Surg and ICU

- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proven ability to lead and develop a team

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
