We are currently seeking a Director of Women's Services to join our team at a healthcare facility in Mayfield, KY. The Director of Women's Services will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the women's services department, including labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery units.

Required Skills

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients in the women's services department

- Manage and supervise the staff in the women's services department, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations

- Monitor and maintain department budget and resources

- Collaborate with other department directors and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in women's healthcare and implement changes as needed

- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and accreditation standards

- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and resources to enhance the services offered by the department

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required, Master's degree preferred

- Current RN license in the state of Kentucky

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in women's healthcare, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

- Strong leadership and management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care processes and procedures

- Understanding of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards

- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

- Proven track record of improving patient outcomes and satisfaction
