About the job Project Engineer
Duration: 12 month contract
• Opportunity for an individual that can work under the direction of scientists and engineers with the independence expected to complete tasks assigned.
• A successful applicant must have excellent electrical, mechanical, and computer skills with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to program or be familiar with languages for troubleshooting electronic PLC's and controllers.
• Person should have experience with farm field equipment (tractors, combines) with the ability to conceptualize designs to deliver new research equipment.
• Also, testing, troubleshooting and evaluation of new research.
• Requires 5-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Performs a variety of tasks.
• Works under general supervision.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manage
Additional Information:
• This role will be in charge of the inventory and maintaining the inventory of spare parts which includes interfacing with procurement to order parts for upcoming projects, making sure the parts are packages correctly and shipped out to the appropriate projects
• This role will also be interfacing with global trade, shipping and compliance to make sure they are properly exported.
• This role will be doing configuration (assembly and testing) and following start up procedures to make sure the items are working properly before being shipped.
• Experience in all necessary tools.
o Microsoft Office products, SolidsWorks CAD, SAP is used by experience is not necessary, ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• Excellent communication skills; customer focus
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and conflicts
• 5 Years of Experience
• Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
