The Opportunity

We're partnering with a well-established Durham Region mechanical and industrial manufacturing firm with over 30 years of success delivering custom engineered solutions across regulated, safety-critical environments throughout Canada and North America.

They are hiring a Project Coordinator to act as the central link between office leadership, manufacturing, field crews, and clients.

This is not an administrative support role. It is a hands-on operational coordination position critical to schedule execution, project flow, and client satisfaction.

Estimating Planning Fabrication Installation Completion

You will work directly with:

  • Ownership and leadership
  • Shop foreman and manufacturing team
  • Field installation crews
  • External clients and partners

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple active projects across different stages simultaneously
  • Manage schedules, milestones, priorities, and delivery timelines
  • Act as the primary communication hub between office, shop, field, and clients
  • Support estimating, job setup, and pre-production planning
  • Ensure crews and shop teams have accurate drawings, schedules, and priorities
  • Proactively identify delays, conflicts, and risks before they escalate
  • Maintain project trackers, documentation, updates, and reporting
  • Support budget awareness, change tracking, and project closeout

What You Bring

  • 3+ years in project coordination, scheduling, operations, or construction support
  • Experience in mechanical, manufacturing, construction, elevators, or industrial trades preferred
  • Proven ability to manage high project volume in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator comfortable with tradespeople, clients, and leadership
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability
  • Strong Microsoft Office, Excel, and tracking system skills
