Project Controls Manager
Our client, a global and ambitious firm that operates across real estate, infrastructure and energy sectors is hiring for a Project Controls Manager, responsible for the leadership and coordination of the project controls function.
The Role:
- Manage relationships to other areas within the business such as account management, accounts, service delivery, key suppliers & contractors, portfolio director.
- Oversee all projects and act as a point of escalation for other projects within the portfolio.
- Management of the project controls portfolio
- Oversight of Scheduling, Project Funding, Reporting, Cost Verification and Analysis
- Responsible for governance of Process and Procedure
The Person:
- Experience in conceptual project budgeting and scheduling, project planning, design and cost estimating at various project stages
- Manage the Planning team to prepare Project Programs and status update programs as required by the Contract documents.
- Previous Program / Project Controls experience with relatable experience in the last five years in a capital portfolio delivery or utilities-based project
- Minimum five (5) years experience across a broad spectrum of civil disciplines with proven commercial, contractual, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated competency in managing various Planning functions including the provision routine reports and correspondence, defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), negotiation skills and persuasiveness in their various interactions
