As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health and upscale of properties. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing financial processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing strategic financial guidance. You will work closely with the General Manager and Group Financial Controller and present the financial results to the Executives. You will be engaging with senior stakeholders, and decision-makers having a lot of visibility and opportunities to stand out and progress your career within the group. The Role:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the group's goals and objectives.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective costcost-controlsures.
- Risk Management: Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a dedicated finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Audit and Taxation: Coordinate internal and external audits and manage tax planning and compliance.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with financial vendors, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Technology Integration: Implement and leverage financial technologies and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
The Person:
- Qualified Accountant with post qualified experience
- Experience in the luxury hotel industry
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and manage a finance team.
- High level of integrity, ethics, and attention to detail.
