Fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join an innovative and client focused organisation and work on a variety of construction projects for a number of clients.
Due to tremendous growth, our client is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the team in managing and coordinating projects through all phases of design and construction.
The Role:
- Collaborate with the project management team to assist in the successful delivery of construction projects
- Assist in the development of project documentation and reports
- Actively support and manage project scope, schedule and budget
- Support Project Managers and other key stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and client satisfaction
- Responsible for reporting of project performance using project controls tools
- Perform technical discipline tasks including preparation of reports, design, specifications, and plan preparation to ensure cost-effective development of assigned projects
- Effective time management and execution of work within defined timelines
- Develop and enhance client relationships and ensure all aspects of client services are delivered at the highest level
The Person:
- Degree in Construction, Engineering or relevant Project Management qualification
- 1 - 2 years of prior Project Management experience in Construction
- Solid understanding of bringing projects from inception through to delivery
- Experience with working on pre and post contract duties
- Good understanding of budget management, schedule management, risk management and stakeholder management
- Able to work under pressure, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Confident in communicating with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external
