Fantastic opportunity for a Process Engineer Manager to join an international and reputable organisation who are going through significant growth in Ireland.

This is a key hire for the business and the role will support the management and execution of projects from initiation to closure.

The Role:

  • Manage a team of Process Engineers and be responsible for the delivery of project deliverables
  • Lead and manage various stages of projects from concept to detailed design
  • Specify appropriate design requirements for both current and potential developments
  • Creation of KPIs to monitor the team's workload and performance
  • Delivery of agreed design scope within budget hours and schedule
  • Lead and support the production of compelling and competitive project proposals
  • Responsible for technical matters associated with the process design
  • Manage and lead complex technical discussions for Process Design Team
  • Liaise with suppliers and other departments on all matters relating to process design
  • Generate project documentation covering the process engineering need
  • Lead technical and safety reviews
  • Develop and check calculation of equipment sizes
  • Develop PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications and process descriptions
  • Ensure the compliance of design in accordance with all codes and standards, policies and guidelines
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of complex design projects

The Person:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualifications
  • At least 7 years process design and engineering experience in Pharma
  • Track record of successful completion of complex technical projects on time and to budget Proven experience of managing and engaging with a team of process engineers
  • Experience in the development of PFD, P&ID and other project and process drawings and documentation
  • Proven experience in HAZOPs and Design Risk Assessments
  • Excellent communication, people management and influencing skills
